The Pilgrim

Peter has made a lot of progress since learning to walk last March. Now he's walking 1/8 mile or more by himself! We go out the front door, past the mailboxes, around the corner and down the sidewalk, down the alley and in the back gate! He is easily distracted however -- I have to steer him around doggy doodoo, guide him back onto the sidewalk after exploring the bark or stones, wait for the dry leaf to blow past and let him step on everything that doesn't match the sidewalk. A short walk can last a long time!
