Long Weekend

My weekend has been consumed with thoughts about labor -- false labor? true labor? what is my body doing? I know my readers are tired of hearing about it all...and I'm kinda tired of it myself. So here's what we did, minus all the 'labor stuff':

Sabbath School went really well this time -- Peter is doing so great at following directions and doing all the activities so nicely. :) It's great to see that. We had a really nice picnic lunch with friends (Peter enjoying playing with a BOY since most of his friends are girls!). Then naptime and smoothies/popcorn for supper. I think Peter had 6 or 7 small helpings of smoothie. He was LOVING it!

Sunday morning we ate breakfast in a hurry and drove over to Bennington Lake to watch the Onion Man Triathletes! Very exciting watching the swimmers come running out of the water to jump on their bikes. Peter enjoyed clapping and yelling 'YAY!!' I can't remember what else we did...too tired after all that excitement, I guess.

Monday -- it's a holiday! YAY! Tim went for a killer bike ride this morning with a competitive friend. It's so good for him. He's getting more athletic every day. :) I'm proud. We had a BBQ picnic tonight with a few friends -- macaroni and potato salad, Grillers, Big Franks, watermelon, cookies...perfect. A beautiful warm day too.

So, it's back to normalness tomorrow -- maybe. :) Actually, I'm not sure I call being pregnant normal. After nine months, it's hard to remember what normal really feels like. But it'll be Peter and me, getting through a few more days just the two of us...
