Spring Song

I waxed eloquent today. Sometimes a good contest will bring out the best in me. Thank you to {In}Courage for the idea and the motivation.
My song of spring rises and falls without care
Sunbursts bring melody up to the cloud
Rain trickles spirits way down through the air
Then wind takes emotion and makes it so loud

It changes so fast, the weather and me
March, April, May -- roller-coaster season
Happy, then sad, now I'm crazy with glee
Sun warm me up so I'm filled with more reason

Tell me that change is a hard bitter friend
And I'll give reasons for loving its flow
It's an up and down battle but in the end
Spring is the hardest but best time to grow

Tease me with sunshine I'll thank you with snow
I'll learn my life lessons as wind doth blow
