Gonna Miss This: Cuddles
my little dude has been sick.
there's plenty I won't miss [read: vomit]
but I will really really miss the cuddles
the leaning on my arm
the hugging on my leg
the cuddles against my chest
he needs me more
when he doesn't feel good
and while I don't always like feeling needed
I know I'll really miss these cuddles

So often we think of parenting as a messy job -- poop, tantrums, and screaming.
You bet. But you know what? There are a thousand things we will miss. A Thousand.
So take a picture, write a poem or prose, share an anecdote -- remind yourself of the things you don't want to forget.
