{photography} cross country in the grass

I'm still learning about my f-stop. Some of these are blurry because it is set too low. 

It was a cloudy day and I needed a pretty fast shutter speed to capture the action. 

I moved my ISO up to 800 {too high?} and shot around 1/400 sec.

Here are the stats for that last photo, shot with my 50mm lens: 800 ISO f/3.5 1/400

As you can see, we're getting the kids outfitted for cross country skiing {just ordered Ezra's boots today}. 

All we need is a few more inches to fall in the mountains. We'll probably head up there the day after Thanksgiving.
