cherry picking

Presenting -- the first cherries of the season. There weren't many, because of late spring frosts in our area.

Both boys picked very diligently, climbing ladders without fear and eating less than they put in the bucket. We took away about fourteen pounds and Peter, the entrepreneur that he is, sold most of them to friends and neighbors for a bit of a profit. We'll definitely need to pick some more for the freezer.
