Echo Ridge Nordic Ski Area

I've spent the last couple weeks looking for this place. As in, I hoped something like it existed. Not too expensive, high enough to have great snow throughout the season, offering a variety of trails, and not too challenging for the kids. It's a bit of a drive, but the time flies by with kids reading funny books aloud from the backseat. This is now on our top three list of weekend destinations. I've heard it's fantastic for mountain biking too. #doublecool

Trip Details:
Echo Ridge Nordic Ski Area -- more than 20 miles of groomed cross country ski trails, on the ridge, through the trees, complete with a warming hut by the parking lot. This place is idyllic. Kids ski free and adults can get a parking/ski pass for $10/day.
