"Housewife"
[Something to think about while my husband is away...]
So, according to the definition I'm married to my house. Hmm...that certainly sounds a lot like the ball and chain analogy! Dirty floors, toilets, spider webs, disorganized rooms (the garage is in another category altogether), oh and the looming mortgage. Yes, the 'honeymoon period' is over!
I am so thankful to be a "homemaker" and be married, not to the house, but to the man of my dreams! The cheerful smiling face I wake up to in the morning, the caring provider, the dedicated father who helps quiet Peter in the middle of the night, the amazing chef in the kitchen, all-in-all, the quintessential husband. Cheers to you, babey! :)
