I Need a Rhyme

I used to write poetry
To describe my life
To share my feelings
And clear my head.

So now I sit here
Confined by the rhyme
Trying to think of a word
That rhymes with "life".

Wouldn't it be more productive
To just slap down some words
Whether they rhyme
Or not?

Perhaps a word cloud would work....

Been thinkin about:
spankings sleep training
Kindermusik weight loss
prayer responsibility
romance parenting

Don't feel much better
Need so much more than words
To describe what goes on
In my little brain
