a life, a legacy
So, a few weeks ago, I participated in a familiar activity.
You know -- the kind where everyone writes nice things about you and you write nice things about everyone else?
I waited until I got into the garage to read mine. And it made me think.
Most of the comments had something to do with accomplishment. Getting a lot done.
I do have busy roots. Women that are capable of a lot. Women that could feed an army of hungry souls. Women that get a lot done.
And as much as I do value my productivity, it isn't what I want to be known for. As much as I value my child-rearing abilities, it's not what I want to be known for. As much as I value music and nature and books....it's not what I want to be known for.
