5 Minute Friday [Grow]
{five minutes to free write -- GO} I've grown. Grown as a person, grown as a mother. Five years ago I wouldn't have imagined myself with two children, writing, taking pictures, working out. I didn't really know what I would be like.
Relationships have helped me grow. Marriage is probably the hardest place to learn how to get along with someone else, but boy howdy, it works. It smooths our rough edges, it forces us to think about things from another perspective.
Children will stretch you in ways you never thought possible. Sometimes I feel like a piece of joint grass -- I've done all the growing I can...then well, there's another joint and some more growth. Another stage. Another battle of wills. Another place to grow.
And we certainly do. Who knows what we'll be like in twenty years {boy that seems far off right now!}, but like a tree, we'll have new rings of understanding and new heights of knowledge. And we'll be beautiful. {stop}
