a milestone and a survey
That last blog post? Yeah, that was number 2000. As in, I have written and posted two thousand blog posts in the last five years or so. Crazy. Fun. And a lot of memories recorded.
It gets me thinking {again} about blogging and what it all means to me and why I do it and how things must be rearranged as life ebbs and flows and how to speak to such a wide variety of readers and really, is anyone reading? and you know, that kind of stuff.
I blog mostly because it's a creative release. I find a place of solitude and usually am able to center my thoughts and solve my own problems as I ramble. It's nice to share a piece of our lives in photographs and anecdotes. I hope to be an inspiration to some. But what I have always hoped for was a place of community, a place where like-minded people come to receive and to give. To find a blessing and be a blessing. Community has always somewhat alluded me here in this space. I envision it being so much richer than what it is.
And so -- with this desire in my heart I hope to fine-tune this space from here on out. I hope to better meet my readers' needs. And to better meet my own needs.
I would, of course, LOVE your feedback. Always have, always will.
If you could take a few minutes to answer a few questions, free of charge, no security questions or birthrights necessary, I would be most grateful.
It's a ten question survey to identify my reader demographics and give me an idea of what you'd like to see here.
You're the best. :) And additional comments are always welcome. Always.
