[faith] margin
On my mind lately has been the idea of white space. Intentionally planning less of my day to leave more time around the edges. I feel like it's important to have a margin in my life so I'll have the extra time and energy in reserve so I can bless when asked.
I wrote a little article at 5 Minutes for Faith today about this. Here's a piece: "It was a way of life. It was an achievement-focused, mastery-based way of life with no room for error, for procrastination, for distraction, for failure, or for contentment. No room for margin."
Come read the rest.
And if you're in the mood for more on this topic, I recommend this teaching from Life Church.
